New Year...with a bang!

Sooo... why lie?! I am just going to state the facts here!!  I have not been very good about this blog thing.  I have not forgotten about you, just haven't had the time to just sit down and write.  With that being said...I usually do not make new year's resolutions ;however, this year I am going to make an exception.  After much consideration I have decided to make this years resolution to become a better blogger.  Crossing my fingers...this is one resolution that will NOT be broken.  

Turning One

Today, one year ago, my precious dog graced us with her presence. =) Happy Birthday Tillie Ann Marie Gressett. My life would not be as exciting if it weren't for you. (I hope she likes her new squeaky tennis ball... because I know Caleb will hate it!!)

Starting Somewhere

Due to much influence from this wonderful cousin I have...I decided after much consideration to begin bloggin!!! (Yes, bloggin because blogging sounded too formal!!)  I have nothing really really excited going on in this crazy life but I have decided to tell you all about anyways.  =) 

The hardest part about starting something new is just that...starting something new.  Much like a babies first steps...I am sure my first few blogs will be a little shaky, but I will keep on "stepping" until I get it just right and go from less stumble to maybe jogging. ha!  (Okay enough with the analogies...ha!) So I have been thinking hard about my first blog...and where do I begin.  This time I decided to keep it really basic and just express to you who I am.  Aside from beginning my new blog...I am also going through many things in my life for the first time....

                                     

...I am just starting my adventures as a WIFE!! That's right...I just got married June 9, 2010 to the most amazing person in the world, Caleb Thomas Gressett. He is one of my very best friends. My life would be upside down without him.  
                                     

...this is my very first year to be the middle school cheerleading coach! GOOOOO LIONS!! These girls rock. (Throughout time you too will get a chance to know them!)

...this is my very first time to ever be a mom to a precious baby squirrel. (More on this subject later...promise!!) But just so you know...I will never look at a squirrel the same.  PeeWee is such a joy and so much fun to watch him "grow-up"!

And the lists could go on and on.  But I don't want to spill everything at one time...this way I have at least something to write about!!

So there are tons of other "new" things beginning in this crazy thing I call my life... but there are a couple of things that have been around my entire life.  And without these important things I would not be who I am today.  My family has truly been my rock...from day 1.   (and again...you will hear all about them!!)  My God...one amazing being! I am blessed beyond words.  Without his love I would not have the amazing family, support and love that I get each and every day.
